Bulletin No.1
● General
The purpose of the competition is to provide good and satisfying contest flying in order to make pilots skill up and reinforce friendship amongst pilots and nations, at the same time, to promote the development of paragliding in China. The event is also sanctioned as FAI category 2 event.
● Organizer
Aero Sports Federation of China, ASFC, active member of FAI, cooperating with Anyang municipal government, up-level authorities of Linzhou city.
● Venue
Mt.Taihang (ASL 1200 - 1300 m), Linzhou, Henan Province, P.R.China( central north of China, about 550km south west of Beijing, Capital city of China )
● Date
June 2nd -- 9th , 2010
● Contest tasks
Cross country.
● Competition Rules
World Cup competition rules and the local regulation will be implemented.
● Entry
PWCA will take care of the pilots entry.
● Entry Fee
€200EUR per pilot pays to PWCA account directly. And this will cover the parts described in PWCA rules.
● Hotel and meals:
It is required that all participants will be hosted in a very good hotel with internet connection in each room, lunch package, buffet breakfast and dinner. The total cost from June 2 to 9 will be €100EUR per person and to be paid at arrival.
● Prize Money
Awarding places and money will follow the PWCA rules. Other prize, money or trophy, will be published on the website or announced at the first briefing.
● Transportation to Linzhou
From Beijing to Linzhou, you will take train to Anyang city, a middle sized city which is about 500km south of Beijing, and then by bus to Linzhou which is 50km west of Anyang.
Please pay attention to the TRANSPORTATTION information on the http://www.soaring.org.cn/champions/2010PWC/index.html. We will provide you as many and detailed train schedule information from Beijing west railway station to Anyang city. The express train takes about 3.5 hours.
For sure, the local Organizers will arrange personals to meet participants in Anyang railway station and then will assist you to Linzhou –the event place with free of charge for the 50km drive.
● Visa Application
Participants who need visas to come to China, please fill out the ENTRY FORM and email to asfc28@sohu.com, xcpilot@163.com, So that we could send the visa application letter to you in time.
